My Portfolio

This is a selection of some of the work that has been keeping me busy over the last year or so...

TygerGlyn - This client needed a website which could be viewed on a wide variety of browsers, some of which were pretty old, hence the simplicity. With such simplicity though, comes a steamlined user experience. The site features a number of thumbnail galleries and an easy to use contact form which sends the email request directly to my client's email address.
ipm(international poster management) - needed a site to wow their own clients and organize their workflow more efficiently. I was responsible for developing the Flash site, which communicates heavily with a ColdFusion backend using XML, and also for intial 3D modelling and subsequent animation guidance for the intro sequence.

48hr Film Challenge - What a foolish thing to do! After being given a title and a genre, you have 48 hours to hand back an edited 5min film. Sounds easy? I'm still recovering! I had a brilliant time making this with some friends and family. The icing on the cake came when the police came on set at 4am having had calls that burglars were in the garden.
Interface-newmedia - This is where I used to work and whilst I was there I was asked to re-do the company website. It was a good excuse for me to start learning the new features of Flash MX at the time, and there's actually a hell of a lot of information contained in a small amount of space. Everything you see on the site is controlled from the CMS and read by Flash using XML.
BBC Radio Production Resources - this was the first 100% Flash site I developed and was created using Flash 5. The movement of the different elements within the site and the majority of the illustration work was done by me. I was shown around all the BBC radio studios and theatres to take pictures to use on the site, which was fantastic.
Clarus Design - Clarus is a small print-based design company who wanted a new look for their own website. They came to Interface while I was still there with some pixel precise designs that they wanted transferred on to the screen...I was very happy with the end result of this, particularly because of how close to the original I was able to keep.
first connect screensaver - I haven't had much opportuinty to do just animation work which was why it was great to work on this Flash animated screensaver. I particularly enjoyed matching the animation to the sounds I had found.

DishItUp ident - DishItUp was a CD-Rom created by Interface for the Food Standards Agency. In truth I had very little to do with the whole project but I created this ident for one of the games that could be played from the CD. It was just a bit of fun and allowed me a little bit of time playing around with some of the new features of After Effects.
