Great article which references both V2V and V2I communication using DSRC, wi-fi for cars.
Definitely worth a read. I can think of dozens of uses for this, but adoption needs to begin in commercial vehicles first before the general public will overcome their natural mistrust of how their driving behaviour is being utilised and stored.
My hunch is that it’ll be new, emerging markets that’ll experience this first…
